eShopMall is a fully featured ‘Social’ extension of your existing store front. With a few clicks, automate your current store onto Facebook and expand your online reach by tapping into the enormous popularity of Facebook and the millions of people who use it everyday.

How It Works

Extend your existing catalog into Facebook automatically

Products are pulled from your existing site, and orders happen on your existing site…completely automated!

No code changes, file uploads, or any work needed…just set up your store and get your products into Facebook

Step 1 – Permissions & Store Info

If you see the yellow box inside the blue Store Setup Wizard, it means that you have not yet allowed eShopMall to access your basic information to be able to create a store for you. Click on “Login” and allow eShopMall to work with your facebook account. It is just a one time process. Once granted permissions, it will never prompt you again for them.

Once you have granted permissions to eShopMall, ‘Create’ button would appear in the Store Setup Wizard, and it is now ready to create your store. Fill up your store name, catalog summary and a brief description of your store and click ‘Create’.

You will now see a confirmation message about your store creation. Click on the store link to go to its admin, and do the rest of the setup.

Step 2- Connect Your Store

In the store admin, it will show you that your shop is not yet connected to your online store. To connect your shop with your webstore, download the eshopmall agent as instructed by the setup wizard.

Once you have downloaded the agent script, upload the script to the home directory of your cart. For e.g. if your store url is http://www.mikeyshop.com, the agent should be accessible at http://www.mikeyshop.com/eshopmall.php.

After uplaoding the script, put in the path of your store and the agent, and click Save.

If the agent is correctly uploaded, the blue warning box will go away and you will see the list of categories in the ‘Default Category’ dropdown. Select a category which you want to open up by default on your store home page.

THAT’S IT! YOUR STORE IS NOW ON FACEBOOK.

How Do I Market My Store?

Add Fan Page Tab
Fan Pages are the most preferred ways for businesses and organizations to market their brands. If you have a fan page for your business, you can add a tab on the page for your store. All the page visitors will see the “My Deals” tab on the page, and can reach your store directly.

To add your store’s tab to your fan page, go to the eShopMall application page http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=119504468101275 and click “Add to my Page” in the left side bar. If you have multiple pages it will ask you to select the page on which you want to add the tab. Once you have added the tab to your page, visit your page and click on the tab. When you visit for the first time, it will ask you to select the store that you want to link with your page from all our stores. Once selected, clicks from your fan page would always open your store.

Make Announcements
Welcome to Social Selling. Make an announcement everyday from the Announcement Tool shown in the image in your Admin -> Branding page. Tell people about your unique offers and products. Do not remove your store’s URL from the announcement which is present in the box by default. Your announcements are published to your feed and are visible to your entire social network.

Besides making announcements, you can also “Like” and “Share” specific products from your store which your network can see, and further share with their network.

These are just some fundamental ideas to start with. There is tons of stuff that you can do here.
